For businesses in Bangladesh
POS software for Bangladesh, priced in Taka
CarrotPOS works the way shops in Bangladesh do: amounts in Taka, VAT that is included in the price or added on top, dates in Dhaka time, and a monthly subscription you pay by scanning a QR code.
What you get
Taka everywhere
Prices, reports and invoices are in BDT with the ৳ sign, or any symbol you prefer, such as Tk.
Pay by bKash or Bangla QR
Pay your monthly subscription by scanning our QR code with your mobile banking app and sending the transaction ID. No card needed.
VAT your way
Choose whether VAT is already in your shelf prices or added at the till, separately for shop and wholesale sales. Purchase VAT is tracked too.
Works on the hardware you have
Runs in the browser on a PC, laptop, tablet or phone, with common USB barcode scanners and 58mm or 80mm thermal receipt printers.
Stock and books together
Every sale lowers stock and posts a balanced journal entry, so profit, stock value and what customers owe are always current.
Wholesale and dealers
Distributors can let sales reps take orders on their phones and deliver to retailers on credit.

Questions
Can I pay the subscription without a credit card?
Yes. Businesses billed in Taka pay by scanning a QR code with bKash or another Bangla QR app and entering the transaction ID. We confirm the payment and your account is activated.
Does it support VAT-inclusive prices?
Yes. In Settings you choose whether VAT is included in the price or added on top, separately for shop sales and wholesale.
Will the ৳ sign print on my receipt printer?
Most thermal printers cannot print the Taka sign, so receipts print amounts without a currency symbol. The ৳ sign is shown everywhere on screen and in reports.
